BENEFIT FOR THE KEACH FAMILY

This will be a tough one, so apologies in advance.

In 2010, when Red Sky Comics was opened, we had support from friends and family in addition to the comic community here in the Valley. During one of the first events we held in our shop a young boy drew this picture for us. We were proud to tape it to our refrigerator for everyone to see. The young boy was Logan Keach, son of long-time friend and comic enthusiast Mark Keach. On June 28th of this year Mark and his two sons were in a car accident through no fault of their own. Mark was killed and the two boys were seriously injured, requiring nearly a month in the hospital, as well as continued rehabilitation. We have volunteered our services to help the family to move Mark’s extensive comic book collection with all proceeds going to the family, as they should.

We will be putting together small comic book lots of between 10 – 25 comics each. Being an eclectic collector, as most of us are, Mark filed the majority of his collection by artist rather than title, so many of these lots will reflect that. There are on the order of 20,000 comics so this process will take a while.

Thank you for your interest. Please message with any questions.

Take care of each other.

Sincerely,

Red Sky Comics
